Hygienic coating for concrete ducts

Concrete ducts shed sand, and that sand ends up on the coils. A latex coating stops this permanently.

Hygienic coating

In hospitals and large buildings, outdoor air often runs through builder's work concrete ducts in the basement. Concrete is not a sealed surface; it releases sand and dust into the air.

This abraded material lands on the coils. The fins are damaged, start to rust and, after a while, burst open. In large buildings, the damage quickly runs into hundreds of thousands of euros.

We apply an elastic latex coating that adapts to the duct geometry and seals the surface. The abrasion stops, and the smooth skin gives mould spores nothing to cling to. The coating is applied after cleaning and included in the documentation.
